"Instant" rooftop extensions are set to change the way we live and help tackle our housing crisis.

Extending upwards can be a costly, lenghty process with planning departments often reluctant to change skylines. But with these new "instant" extensions and the housing department announcing the Government will support the creation of UK housing through rooftop development, it could be onwards and upwards for many "homes in the sky". Research shows massive potential in every major city with potential for 41,000 new rooftop homes in London alone.

Housebuilder Click Above offers modular prefab homes that can be cranned on to the roofs of existing buildings. The apartments can be finished as clients want, with flooring, painted walls and wiring ready. It can also help couples who want homes for grown-up children, elderly parents or extra rental apartments.
